AK Wok

Pleasantly surprised! First time ordering and went big, trying 5 entrees and egg rolls. First of all, the large, meaty egg rolls are actually worth 2/$5. Really good even after a 40 min delivery. Second, each entree had an appropriate ratio of meat to veggies (thank you AK Wok for not skimping on delivery customers!) and the meats were all cooked perfectly. Best of all, each dish had a really great tasting took it up a notch sauce, especially the garlic chicken sauce (amazingly garlicky, but in a good way) and the Szechwan sauce. That Szechwan sauce was, for me, PERFECT (hot mouth and throat but doesnt overpower the excellent flavor). I will be going back for that sauce with every meat/veggie combo possible time and time again (and no, its not because Im a R & M fan).
BUT, the real reason that made me decide to take the time to write an actual review...is the rice. I dont know what it is, but its the best takeout rice Ive ever had. Maybe best (sticky) rice Ive ever had period. Its the texture of the grains being perfectly cooked and sticky, but still individual... AND what was left was still good the next day to sop up the remaining sauces and stranded onions for breakfast. WINNER

Two delivery drivers showed up within 2 minutes of each other. First one had food from a house about 3 miles away. He told me must have swapped the orders. About 2 minutes later my food was delivered by a driver that had no clue another driver was here.
Feel bad for the other house getting not so fresh food.

I ordered the schzwan pork and husband ordered combo fried rice. Both dishes were piping hot, fresh tasting, and really pretty good!
We stayed in a hotel downtown and the delivery was ahead of schedule. We would definitely order from here again and we won't hesitate to use Grubhub!

The food was very good! and the service was phenomenal,the delivery was on time and when neither i nor the deliver had any change, i was only charged 20 , my order $23 and they gave me my food and left. I am very happy with my experience with this restaurant
